At fontem ventures our purpose is to deliver a better alternative to smokers around the world. fontem ventures is an innovative consumer goods company, producing leading e-cigarette brands, as well as lifestyle energy products. headquartered in amsterdam, with more than 200 employees working across offices in amsterdam and the usa and research labs in hamburg and beijing. fontem ventures is dedicated to developing and growing a portfolio of innovative non-tobacco product opportunities in lifestyle consumer goods categories. job description: the role: we are seeking a data driven user experience specialist to help improve our acquisition, conversion and retention at through continuous optimizations and improvements of our global sites.  this role would be responsible for leveraging insights using tools like hotjar and to make impactful improvements to our website aligned to our performance metrics and goals. ab testing should be second nature to you and the ability to prioritize a backlog of ux requests by impact on business objectives and ease of implementation is key. you should be passionate about the latest ecommerce user experience best practices, bringing new suggestions and ideas to offer the best online shopping, education and brand experience at . importantly you should have prior experience working within a direct-to-consumer ecommerce team, ideally with html & demandware/commercecloud cms experience to make instant optimizations on the live sites.  ideally, you should have prior experience with developer teams, working in agile sprints for larger ux suggestions requiring code changes. in return we are offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a fast paced and high growth digital team, with a flat hierarchy and passion for delivering leading consumer experiences online. this role would span across high traffic sites such as our usa market as well as new site launches in markets like japan, russia and germany. key accountabilities: use data and insights to drive cro and ux improvements across all our live sites set up and lead ab tests within vwo, codify and scale best practice across markets leverage consumer insights using tools like for upcoming releases and live site features identify and optimize consumer journeys on the site required profile: skills & experience: at least 5+ years’ experience in an ecommerce or digital position with proven ux experience advanced experience: google analytics, vwo/ab testing tools, hotjar/crazyegg, html, css, javascript ideal experience: demandware and commercecloud cms analytical and hypothetically minded, action orientated to drive and scale results international experience working with global and local stakeholders languages: english is required, further languages are a plus what we offer: excellent salary and benefits along with career progression. vdab werk zoeken
